Abstract
A number of clinical and laboratory strains of microorganisms belonging to different species of
mycobacteria of the nontuberculous complex were tested with the use of the polymerase chain reaction
and the restriction analysis. The unique restriction profiles of the following species of mycobacteria
have been obtained: M. fortuitum VI, M. kansasii I, M. intracellulare, M. avium. |
